Process

You should know what happens next, every week of the job.

Remodeling goes wrong when nobody can say what's happening on Tuesday. Here's how our projects are structured.

  1. 01

    Walkthrough

We come to the house, look at the space, and talk about what you want and what the building will allow. No charge, no pitch deck. If your budget and the scope don't line up, you'll hear it that day.

  2. 02

    Design and renderings

Measured drawings of the existing conditions, then a proposed layout and 3D renderings so you can see cabinetry heights, stone runs and lighting before anything is ordered.

  3. 03

    Written estimate and scope

A line-item estimate tied to a written scope: what's included, what's an allowance, and what would trigger a change order. Contracts follow California home improvement contract requirements.

  4. 04

    Permits and selections

We prepare and pull the permits the work requires. In parallel you lock in tile, stone, plumbing fixtures, cabinetry finishes and appliances so nothing stalls the schedule mid-build.

  5. 05

    Construction

Protection and demo, then rough trades, inspections, and finishes in sequence. One site lead, a shared schedule, and dust containment and daily cleanup because you're usually still living there.

  6. 06

    Final walk and warranty

We walk the room with you, write the punch list, finish it, and hand over the final inspection sign-offs along with the warranty terms and care notes for your stone and finishes.

Before you hire anyone — including us

Ask for the license number and check it yourself at cslb.ca.gov. Ask whether the crew is covered by workers' compensation. Ask for the contract in writing before any money changes hands. Our license is #1088081 and we'd rather you verify it than take our word for it.

Start with the walkthrough.

It costs nothing and it's the fastest way to find out what your project actually involves.
