Water Saver Faucets

Water Saver Faucets

Water-saving faucets and showerheads without the weak stream

A well-designed low-flow fixture aerates the stream so it feels the same at the hand while using noticeably less water. A cheap one just restricts flow, which is why people remove them.

Low pressure at a faucet is also often a supply or valve problem rather than the fixture. We check the cause before selling you new hardware.

Typical timeline

Most faucet replacements take one to two hours each. Shower valve replacement takes longer because it involves opening and repairing the wall.

What's included

The scope, in plain terms

Kitchen faucets

Pull-down and pot-filler installations, new deck plates, air gaps and soap dispensers, sealed properly at the counter.

Bathroom faucets

Single-hole, widespread and wall-mount lavatory faucets set on the correct carriers, with new pop-up drains and tailpieces.

Showerheads and valves

Efficient showerheads and hand showers, plus pressure-balanced or thermostatic valve replacement when the old valve is the real problem.

Aerators and flow control

Matching aerator flow rates to each fixture so kitchen and bath use the right amount of water for the task.

Angle stops and supplies

Replacing corroded shutoff valves and supply lines while access is open — the small parts that cause big water damage.

Leak check

Checking the connections and cabinet below after installation, and again once the fixture has run under pressure.

Questions

What homeowners ask about water saver faucets

Will a low-flow showerhead feel weak?+

A good one doesn't — it mixes air into the stream. If your shower already feels weak, the cause is usually the valve, a clogged aerator or house pressure, and a new head won't fix that.

Can you replace the valve without tearing out tile?+

Sometimes, through the back wall or an access panel. When the tile has to be opened, we tell you before starting and handle the tile repair.

Do you install fixtures I buy myself?+

Yes. Buy the fixture and have it on site before the appointment, and check that it includes the rough-in valve — that's the part most often missing.
