Rain Gutters
Rain gutters that move water away from the house
Most of the water damage we find on exterior walls and fascia traces back to gutters: undersized, back-pitched, disconnected, or dumping straight against the foundation.
Southern California rain arrives in short heavy bursts, which is exactly when an undersized gutter overflows. We size for that, not for a gentle drizzle.
Typical timeline
A typical house takes one to two days. Fascia repair or underground drainage adds a day or more depending on the run length.

What's included
The scope, in plain terms
Seamless gutter fabrication
Gutters formed on site to the length of each run, so there are no mid-run seams to open up later.
Sizing and slope
Gutter and downspout sizing based on the roof area feeding each run, hung with consistent pitch to the outlets.
Downspouts and discharge
Downspouts placed where they don't cross walkways, with extensions, splash blocks or underground drains carrying water away from the foundation.
Fascia repair
Replacing rotted fascia and adding backing where old gutters leaked, before anything new is hung on it.
Gutter guards
Screens and covers where trees overhang the roof, chosen to actually pass heavy flow rather than shed it over the edge.
Repairs and re-hanging
Re-pitching sagging runs, replacing hangers, sealing end caps and reconnecting separated joints.
Questions
What homeowners ask about rain gutters
What size gutters do I need?+
It depends on the roof area draining into each run and how steep that roof is. Five-inch handles many homes; large or steep roofs need six-inch and additional downspouts.
Are gutter guards worth it?+
Under heavy tree cover, yes — they cut cleanings down significantly. They don't eliminate maintenance, and a cheap guard can make overflow worse in a downpour.
Where should the water go?+
Away from the foundation. Extensions, splash blocks or a buried drain line to daylight — anything is better than a downspout emptying next to the slab.
